We are pleased to say that the boats have now moved into their new home at Overwater Marina, albeit in temporary berths. Our end of the marina isn't quite finished yet, but the contractors are working hard on the landscaping, and finishing the reception and workshop buildings. All the jetties are completed, its just the paths and fencing still to complete. The one thing we have noticed about Overwater is the amazing skies we have seen since we've been there.
Our intrepid early season guests have already tried out the routes, two parties going to Llangollen and back, reporting that they had no difficulties getting there in the time, and one party sailed round the Four Counties Ring, then promptly disappeared up the Llangollen as they had a day to spare. Another group set off up the Audlem Lock Flight in a howling force 10 gale, and went to Gnosall and back on a short break. The weather was glorious by time they returned.
All the refitting work on Summer Breeze has now been completed, and she now boasts a smart new bathroom, all new upholstery, and new floor coverings. She also now has a slightly larger bed at the back, but more importantly, we have lowered it so our guests no longer have to climb a ladder to get into bed. All our boats have had new memory foam mattresses on the main double bed this year. We did try one out - it was sooo comfy!
For those who are allergic to football, we still have a few dates available in June so you can get away from the World Cup. Look out for our special offers.
